John Heller, Chief Executive Officer
John was President of the Long Term Care Division of Integrated Health Services, where he was instrumental in growing it into the third largest skilled nursing company in the nation, with over 60,000 employees and 400+ nursing facilities. He was also Chief Executive Officer for Housecall Medical Resources, a hospice and home health company.
Jim Rogerson, Chief Operating Officer
After more than 20 years working in long-term care and with older adults, Jim has a complete understanding of the client and therapist side of the business. He has worked in every facet of the industry: publicly-traded, family-owned, non-profit, you name it. He is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator who has managed single and multiple sites, and led therapy divisions to insurmountable success. He holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. For 10 years, Jim has been a surveyor of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Jim also sits on the board for Hospice of the Western Reserve, since 2009.
Tom Guild, Chief Development Officer
Tom is the former General Counsel for Symphony Health Services, one of the largest ancillary services companies in the industry. He was instrumental in growing Symphony's rehabilitation therapy company, RehabWorks, into the largest independent therapy company in the post acute industry. Tom has over 17 years of legal, regulatory, and operational experience in post acute rehabilitation.
Dave Boerkoel, OTR/L, MHA, Director of Clinical Strategy
Dave is an expert in rehabilitation, combining a strong clinical background with 25+ years clinical/operations management experience in long term care, acute rehabilitation, outpatient, and home health. His deep knowledge of regulatory issues, staffing/recruiting, operations, and practice management brings significant value to the customer base. In addition, Dave serves on several work groups with NASL and CMS, helping to shape the future of therapy from a policy standpoint.
Alan Watson, Chief Technology Officer
Alan has more than 23 years of experience in the data communications and computing industries, most recently as the SVP and Chief Technology Officer for UltraBridge, a long term care back office solutions company serving 500+ facilities across the country. In this role he was responsible for leveraging emerging technologies to achieve efficiencies throughout the company, as well as creating a technical platform to provide future application flexibility and growth.
Crista Stark, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Crista was VP of Sales & Marketing for NeighborCare Pharmacy Services and Integrated Health Services. She also played an integral role in packaging clinical outcome data for managed care companies with an emphasis on therapy. During her tenure at HealthPRO®, she has created a culture of organic growth with a solid track record of strong sales performance.
Chris Mottley, Chief Financial Officer
Chris has over 18 years of private and public accounting experience, having spent 12 years with Centennial HealthCare which operated over 100 skilled nursing facilities and ancillary businesses in over 20 states. Chris most recently worked as a Director for EDG Partners, LLC, a healthcare focused private equity firm where he was involved in sourcing and diligence of firm transactions as well as providing financial and IT support to portfolio companies.
Jim Sinisi, Vice President of Recruitment
Jim Sinisi is a therapy recruitment expert with 20+ years experience in the profession across multiple states. Immediately prior to joining HealthPRO®, Jim worked with Care One Management, one of the largest privately held senior living providers on the East Coast operating seventy-nine skilled nursing facilities in nine states. As Director of Rehab Talent Development, Jim was responsible for therapy staff recruitment related to one third of Care One’s portfolio. In addition, Jim executed a strategy that reduced agency usage and FTE openings by 80% within twelve months of his hire. Prior to that he founded the Permanent Placement Division at Sunbelt Staffing and also owned and operated his own recruiting firm for 12 years.
Alissa Vertes, MS, SLP, Compliance Officer
Alissa holds an M.S. in Speech Language Pathology and is Board Certified in Healthcare Compliance by the HealthCare Compliance Association. She has managed rehabilitation departments across LTC/Hospital/Outpatient settings for over 18 years and is currently the Vice President of Corporate Compliance and Clinical Services, Compliance Officer for HealthPRO® Rehabilitation. Alissa is a national speaker on therapy documentation and defensible documentation for rehabilitation specialists and serves as Compliance Committee Chair and internal compliance investigation team lead for multiple organizations. She is a specialist in companywide Internal/External Risk Assessments for rehabilitation services. Alissa spearheads companywide audits & related training processes and oversees reviews in light of RAC/MAC/ZPIC audits.
